A little bummed about the lack of smart TV for some Netflix chillin'. Also, tattoos aren’t allowed in the sauna, which is totally fine but worth noting.

My stay at Monterey Le Frere in Osaka felt quite pleasant, mainly because of the spacious room size. The bathroom and bathtub were on the smaller side but still manageable. I appreciated being on a high floor with nice city views. The hotel's proximity to Osaka Station made it easy to explore, and local restaurants were just a short stroll away. The public bath was a nice touch, and having laundry facilities added convenience. On the downside, the elevators were a bit slow, especially with only three available for all floors. It made going to and from the room a bit tricky, especially during peak times. Small details like the lack of English channels on the TV were a little disappointing. Overall, I found the hotel clean and the staff to be very friendly, which added to the experience. It’s a budget-friendly option if you’re looking for a decent stay in Osaka.

I spent three nights here and appreciated the convenience of being just a few steps from restaurants and only 1 km from Grand Front Osaka, which made my city strolls that much easier. the staff's helpfulness further enhanced my stay as they really made me feel cared for.
